Biography

Cassie Hovey is an Exercise Physiologist at Cleveland Clinic Canada. In her practice, she commonly treats and manages arthritis, post joint replacements, diabetes, hypertension, falls prevention, pulmonary illness, obesity, and mental health. She has a strong interest in arthritis and diabetes education and management, and is passionate about providing youth athletic physical assessments and education for those who are new to exercise. 

Ms. Hovey completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Ballarat University in Australia. She went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the Federation University in Australia, followed by additional certification in Pilates for both mat and reformer. 

A natural leader, Ms. Hovey is dedicated to teaching and education. She has always been drawn to the field of movement and sports, and truly enjoys helping her patients to achieve their goals. Previously, she has provided exercise therapy for athletic injuries, post-motor vehicle accident clients, cardiac illness, and community work with veterans. 

When she’s not treating patients, Ms. Hovey enjoys playing sports, staying active, and cheering on Toronto’s sports teams.
