Faiza Abdullah is the Clinical Advisor for the Personal Training Plus Program at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Ms. Abdullah is dedicated to helping people achieve their health and fitness goals and believes the key to living a healthy life is to achieve a balance and enjoy what you do.

Ms. Abdullah’s interest in exercise physiology began in high school. She took a course on the subject and knew it was the field she wished to pursue as a career. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from York University in Kinesiology and Health Sciences before going on to complete her Masters in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York. Ms. Abdullah obtained her graduate certificate as a diabetes educator at The Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences.

Since graduation, Ms. Abdullah has had years of experience conducting fitness assessments and providing personalized counselling for patients with health and medical issues. She has a particular interest in chronic disease management, functional training, core training and pre-operative conditioning. In her practice, she seeks to educate patients on their options and help them take their health into their own hands.

When she’s not working, Ms. Abdullah loves to stay active with anything outdoors, including hiking, camping, rollerblading and skating. She also enjoys squash, boxing and yoga.
