“Brian’s experience as a physician and a former Chief Operating Officer makes him an ideal choice to lead South Pointe Hospital,” said David Bronson, MD, President of Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals. “His expertise in quality will help South Pointe Hospital continue to provide the best experience for patients.”

Currently, Rob Stall leads South Pointe Hospital as interim president. Stall will return to his role as Chief of Operations for Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals.

“South Pointe Hospital is led by a highly motivated group of caregivers and has strong support from the community,” said Dr. Harte. “South Pointe is my community’s hospital, and I look forward to working with the team there to deliver high-quality care for our patients.”

Dr. Harte will continue to serve as Medical Director for Cleveland Clinic Enterprise Business Intelligence where he focuses on using data to drive operations, quality and patient safety for the entire Cleveland Clinic health system.

After joining the staff of Cleveland Clinic in 2004, Dr. Harte served three years as chairman of the Department of Hospital Medicine, and also served as interim chairman for the Medicine Institute. He has an academic appointment in the Department of Medicine for Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
