Dealing with the unexpected things that happen to your body in the months after childbirth is worth talking about. If you are experiencing incontinence, back pain or feelings of instability in your core, we invite you to join us for an informative talk with a Cleveland Clinic Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist who will discuss the best steps to recover after giving birth.
Additional topics that will be discussed include
- Returning to an exercise regimen.

Feeding Development program covers feeding development for birth through preschool ages, breastfeeding/bottle feeding and transition to solids. You will also learn when to seek additional help with feeding. Advance registration is required. Register online.
NEW for 2024! Literacy Assessment & Intervention Program
Cleveland Clinic Children’s Therapy Services offers a literacy program that includes evaluations and intervention for a range of learning differences involving literacy: reading, spelling, working memory, narrative writing, expressive language and receptive language.
- The Orton-Gillingham™ trained speech-language pathologists will assess your child’s skills to determine breakdowns in each area.
- A full report along with recommendations and goals will be written.
- Speech and language therapy is available to address those goals.
- Therapy involves direct, multisensory, structured and sequential treatments to improve reading, spelling and writing in addition to traditional language therapy practices.

- Evaluations are available at our Medina, Middleburg Heights, Stow, and Westlake locations
- Treatment is available at all Therapy Services satellite locations: Cleveland, Beachwood, Medina, Middleburg Heights, Stow, and Westlake.

Join us virtually to learn the meaning and significance of tummy time, the benefits it offers, and how to overcome any challenges you may face while implementing it with your child. We will also cover the basics of infant development and the importance of creeping. Using Sign Language to Enhance Language Development

Are you looking for ways to enhance your child's communication skills? Join our pediatric Speech Language Pathologists virtually to learn the benefits of using sign language, the development of imitation skills and the use of gestures. You will learn the early signs to use with your children and engaging activities to teach them sign language. Our team will also provide resources for further learning. Are you concerned about your child's speech and language development? Our speech-language pathologists have expertise in helping children develop their language skills from birth through pre-school. Join us virtually to learn the basics of speech language development as well as red flags and risk factors for prolonged delays. Active Women Across the Lifespan: Exercise Recommendations from Adolescence through Post-Menopause

Attention Women! Are you looking for ways to stay fit and healthy throughout your life? Join Cleveland Clinic Physical Therapist, Jenny Smith, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS in our upcoming class where she will share valuable insights and tips on how to enhance female health through exercise from adolescence to post-menopause.
You will learn about the changes that happen to the female body with age and how exercise can support those changes. Jenny will provide you with exercise recommendations for each stage of life, including important exercises to battle menopause symptoms and a slowing metabolism. You'll also learn ways to optimize bone health in adolescence and keep bones strong and healthy with age.
Her course objectives include:
- Discussing changes of the female body that occur with age and the importance of exercise to support those changes.
- Define ways to optimize bone health in adolescence and prevent and treat osteoporosis with exercise.

Getting from Tee to Green: Reducing Your Risk of Injury this Golf Season

Golf is a physical and repetitive sport and the mechanics of your swing and positioning of your body can be detrimental to your physical health if not properly tuned and may keep you off the course. We invite you to join Cleveland Clinic orthopedic physical therapist, Jeffrey Houser who is trained as a Golf Fitness Instructor through Titleist Performance Institute, as he discusses healthy golf mechanics, exercises, and ways to help reduce your risk of injury during the golf season so you can continue golfing and maintain a healthy swing for years to come.

Jazzercise is a dance based, total body workout, set to top 40 music. We offer a variety of class formats combining dance with yoga, Pilates, kickboxing and strength training. Each class will burn up to 800 calories. The result? Long lean muscles and an undeniable mood boost!

Moving Smarter with Osteoarthritis Nutrition is a FREE educational program designed for anyone diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the knee who wants to learn more about how to follow an anti-inflammatory eating pattern to improve symptoms, including weight loss.
