Three-Month Endovascular Surgery Fellowship Training Program
The goals of the Endovascular Fellowship Training Program include:
- Training in advanced catheter and guidewire skills
- Performance of diagnostic arteriography with ability to selectively cannulte secondary and tertiary branches. This includes not only the lower extremity circulation but also the visceral circulation and brachiocephalic.
- Advanced angioplasty and stenting.
- Proficiency with intravascular ultrasound for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- The fellow will become proficient in the repair of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms using a proud variety of devices.
- The individual will learn a wide variety of thrombolytic techniques, within not only the arterial, but the venous circulation as well, with multimodal therapy.
