Endovascular Fellowship

Three-Month Endovascular Surgery Fellowship Training Program

The goals of the Endovascular Fellowship Training Program include:

  • Training in advanced catheter and guidewire skills
  • Performance of diagnostic arteriography with ability to selectively cannulte secondary and tertiary branches.  This includes not only the lower extremity circulation but also the visceral circulation and brachiocephalic.
  • Advanced angioplasty and stenting.
  • Proficiency with intravascular ultrasound for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • The fellow will become proficient in the repair of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms using a proud variety of devices.
  • The individual will learn a wide variety of thrombolytic techniques, within not only the arterial, but the venous circulation as well, with multimodal therapy.
