Dr. Jeffrey S. Palmer
Dr. Jeffrey S. Palmer, Director of the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Urology at the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute of the Cleveland Clinic, has organized the 2nd Annual International Pediatric Urology Preceptorship (IPUP) to be held September 11-13, 2009 at the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute.
This international meeting will consist of didactic lectures and discussed video sessions by fifteen internationally renowned international pediatric urologists and is designed exclusively for urology residents, pediatric urology fellows, and recently trained urologists. This several day event will consist of discussed video-taped surgeries, didactic lectures and discussions on various topics in pediatric urology.
Last year’s meeting was such a success that we have decided to increase the number of attendees accepted to the meeting. Again, this preceptorship is being offered free-of-cost to selected urology residents and pediatric urology fellows, which includes free registration, accommodations (hotels and meals), and entertainment associated with the meeting. The attendee’s institution will be responsible for airfare and ground transportation costs. This unique meeting will be “by-invitation-only” and interested individuals will be required to complete a nomination application. The preceptorship is limited to only 70 attendees and selection will be on a first come, first serve basis.
This unique experience will provide an excellent review of pediatric urology by many of the leaders in the specialty. You do not have to have a future interest in pediatric urology to attend the meeting.
