About Cristiano Quintini, MD

Cristiano Quintini, MD, is the Director of Liver Transplantation at Cleveland Clinic. He is also a Staff Physician in Liver Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery in the Department of General Surgery. Dr. Quintini area of expertize embrace complex liver surgery including advanced liver surgery for tumors (conventional and laparoscopic), living donor liver transplantation and liver transplantation. He is involved in clinical research in the field of liver surgery and transplantation as well as ex-vivo organ perfusion.

Dr. Quintini received his medical degree from the University of Bologna [NB1] in Bologna, Italy. He completed a residency in the General Surgery Residency Program at University of Modena [NB2] in Modena, Italy. Dr. Quintini then received an ASTS Fellowship from the University of Miami in abdominal transplant surgery, which he completed at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla. Dr. Quintini then completed an advanced fellowship in living donor liver transplantation, which he received from Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
