Adriana Maria Rosario, MD, is a cardiologist in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Rosario is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology (Level II), echocardiography (Level III) and heart failure and transplant cardiology.
Dr. Rosario earned her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine,
Buenos Aires, Argentina. She completed an internal medicine residency at University Hospital de Clínicas, José de San Martín, Buenos Aires, followed by a cardiology residency at the same institution. In the final year of her cardiology residency Dr. Rosario was chief resident, and she was named to the cardiology staff at Fundacion Favaloro, Buenos Aires, after completion of her cardiology residency.
Dr. Rosario later joined the Section of Heart Failure, and the Section of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, Department of Cardiology at the Instituto Cardiovascular de Buenos Aires. She subsequently completed additional specialized training in heart failure and cardiac transplantation as a clinical fellow at Cleveland Clinic.
To complete her medical tarring in the United States, Dr. Rosario served a categorical residency in internal medicine at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Mass., where she was appointed to the medical staff. Her final training was as a cardiology fellow at Ochsner Clinic, New Orleans, La., where she received the Excellence in Echocardiography award. Prior to her appointment to the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2013, Dr. Rosario was a cardiologist in private practice with Northeast Cardiology Associates, Bangor, Maine.
Dr. Rosario has published professional papers and presented abstracts at international medical meetings on heart failure, heart transplantation and acute myocardial infraction. She is a member of the Argentinean Society of Cardiology, American College of Cardiology and
American Society of Echocardiography.
She is fluent in Spanish and English.
