Biographical Sketch

As a gynecologic surgeon with over 20 years of experience, I like to emphasize a thorough evaluation of patient concerns in the office, prior to proceeding with treatment. Frequently this includes an in-office pelvic ultrasound or sonogram, performed by myself, which helps provide the proper information to offer only the appropriate, safe and effective treatment alternatives to patients. One of my special interests is alternatives to hysterectomy in particular.  Cleveland Clinic Florida also recently established a Fibroid Center, allowing us to offer all forms of treatment for fibroids, including both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. I believe in and enjoy patient education, allowing all patients to participate in their own treatment decisions.
