Biographical Sketch
Thomas Morledge, MD received his medical degree from Cleveland's Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1986 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 1990. For a short while he was in private practice and then joined Cleveland's MetroHealth Medical Center and became the Medical Director for a community based clinic. He then joined the Cleveland Clinic as Medical Director for the Willoughby Hills Family Health and Surgery Center in 1994 and remained in that role until 2009. In 2008 he became certified by the American Board of Holistic Medicine and joined the Wellness Institute's Center for Integrative Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Morledge has interests in lifestyle management, mind/body medicine, nutritional biochemistry, and the use of nutraceuticals for the prevention and treatment of medical conditions. He has co-led several research projects that examined the role of nutraceuticals and mind/body medicine in inflammation and physiologic measurements. He has recently completed a book chapter on Integrative Medicine in the Cleveland Clinic's Textbook of Medicine and is providing medical direction in programs related to lifestyle coaching and disease prevention.
