Biographical Sketch

Golnar Prud’homme, DPM, is a podiatrist in the in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute. She is board certified in podiatric medicine and surgery.  She is also certified in hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Dr. Prud’homme earned her medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. She served her residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at W. Middleton V.A Hospital, Madison, Wis. She joined Cleveland Clinic in 2013.

Dr. Prud’homme’ s specialty interests include treatment of foot and ankle disorders related to peripheral vascular disease such as  critical limb ischemia, PAD , venous stasis, lymphedema, diabetic foot, ingrown toe nails, plantar fascitis, neuroma, and biomechanics of the foot and ankle. She also treats fungal infections of the toes, foot trauma, foot and ankle arthritis, hallux rigidus, heel spurs, Achilles tendon tendinitis and tendinosis,  plantar fibromatosis and shin splints.

She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Surgeons and the American Association of Women Podiatrists.

Outside of work, Dr. Prud’homme enjoys kayaking, mountain climbing, ballroom dancing and painting.  She has been an art docent with an interest in Impressionism

Dr. Prud’homme is fluent in Farsi, Turkish, Arabic and French in addition to English.
