Biographical Sketch

Guiyun Wu, MD, is currently a staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic, Department of Radiology, Molecular and Functional Imaging. He is specialized in Nuclear Imaging, especially functional imaging of the brain.

He received his medical education in Inner Mongolian Medical College and additional research training in Chinese Academy of Medical Science in China. He had several years of research experience in molecular and cellular biology before his clinical training. He completed his residency training in neurology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine and Movement Disorder at the University of Michigan Medical Center before he joined the Cleveland Clinic.

He is board-certified by American Board of Nuclear Medicine and American board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He served as an active member of several professional medical societies: American Society of Nuclear Medicine, American Academy of Neurology, Radiology Society of North America, and European Society of Nuclear Medicine. He is interested in functional imaging of brain and actively participated in several company and institution sponsored research projects with a wide range of publications.
