Biographical Sketch
Bruce D. Long, MD, BS. Pharm., has been a staff physician in the Orthopedic and Rhematologic Institute, Department of Rheumatologic and Immunologic Disease since April 1, 2008. He is active in the Center for Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease. Prior to his appointment at The Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Long was chairman of the Department of Rheumatology at Fairview and Lutheran Hospitals. He is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine and a certified clinical densitometrist, by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry.
Dr. Long is known for his interest in teaching and patient care. Prior to entering the profession of medicine, Dr. Long practiced pharmacy in his home state of Illinois.
