Biographical Sketch
Joseph Martin, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Clinical and Interventional Sections of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. He joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2007. His practice is located at the Solon Family Health Center, Solon, Ohio and the Chagrin Falls Family Health Center, Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Dr. Martin’s areas of specialization include angina, atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease and ischemia. He provides the following treatments: intracoronary ultrasound, cardiac catheterization, and Coronary Balloon Angioplasty (PTCA). He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and in the sub-specialties of cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
He is a graduate of Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio. He received his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine, Dayton, Ohio, where he was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. He completed fellowships in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Dr. Martin is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His research articles have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
