Mohammed Rafey, MD, is an Associate Staff Member in the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension at the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute. His specialty interests include hypertension and nephrology.
Dr. Rafey earned his medical degree from Bangalore University Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at North General Hospital in New York. He was also a hypertension fellow and a nephrology fellow at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
Dr Rafey is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and is American Society of Hypertension certified Hypertension Specialist.
He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Medical Association, American Society of Hypertension, American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine, American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation.
