Biographical Sketch
Rami Karroum, MD, is an Associate Staff Member in the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic’s main campus.
He earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, where he also completed an internship and residency. He completed an internship, residency and fellowship all in the Department of Pediatric Anesthesia’s Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is certified by the United States Medical Licensing Examination and licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists. He has done a number of case reports on topics such as the effect of neck position on intracranial pressure in the anesthetized patient, unexplained transient left sided hemiparesis, and Takayasu’s arteritis, among others.
