Biographical Sketch
Priya Kalahasti, MD, is a Clinical Associate in the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension at Cleveland Clinic's main campus. She is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology. Dr. Kalahasti’s specialty interests include chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and hypertension.
A native of India, Dr. Kalahasti received her medical degree from the University of Health Sciences Sri Venkateswara Medical College in Tirupati, A.P., India. She received honors in biochemistry and a Gold Medal in pharmacology. She did a rotating internship at S.V.R. R. Government General Hospital in Tirupati, A.P. India. She followed this with an internship and residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Kalahasti then accepted a fellowship in nephrology and hypertension from Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Kalahasti is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation and the American Medical Association.
