Biographical Sketch
Robert Stein, MD, is Associate Staff in the Department of Urology of the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute as part of the Center for Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery and the Steven Streem Center for Endourology.

His special interests include robotic and laparoscopic prostatectomy, laparoscopic kidney surgery including partial nephrectomy, robotic and laparoscopic pyeloplasty, laparoscopic adrenal surgery and laparoscopic and robotic ureteral surgery.

Dr. Stevens has been involved in the initial and ongoing use of a single-port, natural orifice approach for essentially scar-free laparoscopic surgery. This has been used for prostatectomy, nephrectomy, pyeloplasty and ureteral surgery.
