Biographical Sketch
Richard Drake, MD, is a Staff Member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic’s main campus. His specialty areas include gynecologic oncology, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer and laparoscopy.
Dr. Drake earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich. He completed a residency at Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Mich. and a fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in Dallas, Texas.
He board eligible with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of a number of professional organizations including the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, American Academy of Cancer Research, American Medical Association and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Drake has presented and published a number of abstracts on ovarian cancer. He has also published a number of articles in peer-reviewed publications.
