Biographical Sketch
Pierre Triozzi is a Staff Member in the Departments of Solid Tumor Oncology and Hematologic Oncology and Blood Disorders at the Cleveland Clinic’s main campus. He is also Professor of Medicine with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner School of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. His research interests include tumor immunology, cancer vaccines, biologic response modifiers, cellular immunotherapy, and clinical trials
Dr. Triozzi earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in Columbus, Ohio. He completed an internship, residency and hematology and oncology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
He is a Diplomate with the American Board of Internal Medicine with additional subspecialty certifications in medical oncology and hematology. He is also a Diplomate with the National Board of Medical Examiners.
He is a member of a number of medical societies including the American Association for Cancer Research, Society for Biological Therapy, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. He serves on several committees for the National Cancer Institute.
Dr. Triozzi has been a principal investigator on a number of studies. He has several patents, and he has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals.
