Biographical Sketch
James Malgieri, MD, is a Staff Member in the Department of General Surgery at His specialty interests include gastrointestinal surgery, breast surgery, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, and laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Malgieri earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed a surgery internship and a general surgery residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland through Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
He is a fellow with the American College of Surgeons and is a member of several other medical societies, including the American Academy of Medicine of Cleveland, American Medical Association, American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Cleveland Surgical Society.
He has published journal articles in Endocrinology and Journal of Biological Chemistry, and has presented his research at the Endocrine Society meeting and the Cleveland Surgical Society.
