Biographical Sketch
Ariel Feldstein, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology and an Associate Staff Physician in the Department of Cell Biology at the Lerner Research Institute of Cleveland Clinic. He is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
He earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was also a post-doctorate Fellow in the Department of Physiology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., where he did his residency. He was a Fellow, Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Mayo Clinic as well as a Research Trainee in the Gastroenterology Research Unit at Mayo Graduate School.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is the recipient of many awards and honors, including the Young Investigator Award, American Society of Hypertension, Fifteenth; Scientific Meeting, May 2000, New York; Mayo Research Scholar Award; American Gastroenterology Association Fellowship/Faculty Transition Award; Fellow Travel Award, Mayo Clinic Jacksonville Gastroenterology & Hepatology Course; Young Investigator Award, Second World Congress of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition; Research Excellence in Gastroenterology and Liver (REGAL) Award and the American Gastroenterology Association (AGA) Research Scholar Award.
