Biographical Sketch
Sangeeta Rao Kashyap, MD, is Associate Staff in the Endocrinology and Metabolism Institute at Cleveland Clinic. She is also Assistant Professor of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kashyap earned her BS in biological sciences from the University of California-Irvine. She completed her medical degree at the University of California at Irvine, and her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston. She then completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center/UCLA and subsequently a postgraduate research fellowship in diabetes at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Her research interests include insulin resistance and the metabolic syndrome.
