Biographical Sketch
L. Kate Gowans, MD, is a Staff Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist, Director of the Fellowship Training Program and Director of the Comprehensive Pediatric Sickle Cell Clinic at Cleveland Clinic.

She is board-certified in pediatric hematology/oncology and general pediatrics. Dr. Gowans specializes in treatment of children with cancer or blood disorders, with special interest in Hodgkin lymphoma, sickle cell anemia, coagulation disorders and blood management and conservation in pediatrics.
