Biographical Sketch
Sharon A. Sutherland, MD, is Co-Director of the Section of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cleveland Clinic, which she was appointed to in 2007. Dr. Sutherland has been caring for OB/GYN patients on Cleveland's west side since 1996 and has extensive experience in obstetric management. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Sutherland was recently elected so sit on Fairview Hospital's Executive Committee of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (2007-2009). She also serves on the Performance Improvement Committee and Improving Organizational Performance Committee, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fairview Hospital. She joined Cleveland Clinic in 2003.
Dr. Sutherland has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecology procedures, including hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, laparoscopy and laparoscopic and hysteroscopic sterilization procedures.
