Biographical Sketch
Pete S. Batra, MD, is an internationally recognized rhinologist who currently serves as Section Head for Nasal and Sinus Disorders at the Cleveland Clinic Head and Neck Institute.

Dr. Batra graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Northwestern University and pursued fellowship training in rhinology and advanced endoscopic surgery at Cleveland Clinic.

He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a fellow of the American Rhinologic Society. Dr. Batra has co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Dr. Batra is active in both the American Rhinologic Society and American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He has served as a co-investigator on several research trials and has received funding from Naryx Pharma, Inc, and American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Innovations & Patents
Dr. Batra has special interest in minimally invasive management of sinonasal and skull base neoplasms. The Cleveland Clinic Section of Nasal and Sinus Disorders at the Head and Neck Institute has been in the national forefront of refinement of these endoscopic techniques. The Section has also published extensively on the outcomes of these surgical procedures.
