Biographical Sketch
Luay P. Susan, MD, is an Associate Staff member at the Glickman Urological Institute at Cleveland Clinic’s main campus. Previously, he was Chairman of the Department of Urology and Head of the Renal Transplant Team at Hamad General Hospital in Doha, Qatar.
Dr. Susan received his medical degree from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine, Iraq. He has completed residencies in surgery and urology, and he has completed fellowships in urology and renal transplantation. He is licensed to practice in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington and Michigan.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Iraqi Medical Association, the Iraqi Red Crescent Association, the Iraqi Medical Society, the Iraqi Urology Board for Training Residents and the National Advisory Board for Basrah Journal of Surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and has authored numerous journal articles.
