Biographical Sketch
Andrew Ukleja, MD, CNSP, was born in Poland. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Gastroenterology at Cleveland Clinic Florida through the Health Sciences Center of the Ohio State University and the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla.
Dr. Ukleja is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and nutrition support and demonstrates many clinical interests, including enteral and parenteral nutrition, acid reflux disorders, celiac disease, intestinal dysmotility, radiation enteritis and inflammatory bowel disease.
He is the past President of Florida Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (2005). He is also a member of the editorial board of World Journal of Gastroenterology and of the editorial advisory board of Postepy Zywienia Klinicznego, Journal of Polish Society of Parenteral Nutrition.
A frequent invited lecturer at national and international medical meetings, Dr. Ukleja has co-authored more than 30 scientific papers. \
