Biographical Sketch
Julian Peskin, MD, is a Staff Member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center. His specialty interests include menopause and clinical densitometry.
Dr. Peskin earned his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersand Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed an internship at Hillbrow Hospital affiliated with the University. He also completed multiple residencies. He was a resident in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as in emergency medicine at Johannesburg Hospital in Johannesburg South Africa. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Hemel Hempstead Hospital in London, England, as well as at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Oh. He also held a residency in family medicine at La Ronge Medical Clinic in La Ronge, Canada.
Dr. Peskin was a Fellow at University MacDonald Women’s Hospital through Case Western Reserve University.
He is a member of several professional and medical organizations, including the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, South African Medical Association, North American Menopause Society and the American Fertility Society.
He has published multiple articles on topics such as Horner's Syndrome, hormone replacement therapy, and endometrial biopsy to name a few. He has also conducted a number of research projects.
