Biographical Sketch
William E. Forsythe III, MD, is a Staff physician in the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute at Cleveland Clinic's main campus. He was appointed in 2000 after 26 years in private practice. He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and his specialty interests include prostate diseases and general urology.
Dr. Forsythe is a fellow with the American College of Surgeons and a member of The American Urological Association, Ohio State Urology Association and Cleveland Urological Society.
Dr. Forsythe graduated in 1963 with a bachelor of arts degree from Case Western Reserve University, and earned his medical degree at George Washington University, Washington, DC. He completed his internship and residencies in both surgery and urology at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Forsythe recently returned to his undergraduate alma mater to earn an MBA in 1997.
He is also a retired Lt. Commander from the US Navy, serving from 1969 to 1971.
