Anita Misra-Hebert, M.D.

Anita D. Misra-Hebert, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. She is involved in our CEO healthcare and preventive medicine programs. Her primary interests are preventive medicine, hypertension, and women's health issues.
 
Dr. Misra-Hebert is actively involved in medical student teaching at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, and is course director for the Foundations of Clinical Medicine Seminars.  She received a Scholarship in Teaching Award in 2005 from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine for her contributions to this course. 

She joined the staff of Cleveland Clinic in 2000. Previously, Dr. Misra-Hebert was a member of the clinical faculty in general internal medicine at the University of Chicago, where she was actively involved with medical student and resident education and clinical practice. 

She completed her undergraduate training at Northwestern University, her medical degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, with internship, and residency training at the University of Cincinnati Hospitals.  She is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of the Society of General Internal Medicine.
