Biographical Sketch
Gregory Schnier, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Department of Vascular Surgery in the Cleveland Clinic Heart and Vascular Institute, as well as at Marymount Hospital. His specialty interests include carotid artery surgery, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, peripheral artery/vein repair and bypass surgery.
Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Schnier was part of the Vascular Surgical Group of North East Ohio in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery with special qualifications in general vascular surgery. He is also a registered vascular technologist.
Dr. Schnier earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He was a Vascular Surgery Fellow at Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Schnier is a member of several medical societies. He is a Fellow for the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Cleveland Vascular Surgery Society and the International Society of Cardiovascular Interventionists, among others. He has presented a number of times and has multiple publications in the form of peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts and book chapters.
