Biographical Sketch

Anantha B. Reddy, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, located at Cleveland Clinic. He joined Cleveland Clinic in 1999 after completing his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Reddy also served as a resident in general surgery and in the Sleep Medicine Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He received his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India.

Dr. Reddy is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Other certification includes those earned in musculoskeletal ultrasound from the University of Michigan; structural acupuncture and Yamamoto new scalp acupuncture from Harvard Medical School; and orthotics and spinal orthotics from New York University Medical Center. He also holds medical licenses from the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, and from Hyderabad State Medical Council in India.

A member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the North American Spine Society, Dr. Reddy was named one of “America’s Top Physicians” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America in 2003.

Dr. Reddy has received grants for and served as a principal investigator and investigator in several research projects in his field. In addition, he has co-authored numerous articles that have appeared in leading medical publications such as Neurosurgery, The Neurologist and the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
