Biographical Sketch
John Vitkus, PhD, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who sees adults in a general practice at the Cleveland Clinic Solon and Chagrin Falls Family Health Centers. He received his doctorate from Stanford University and taught at Barnard College before returning for further postdoctoral clinical training at Case Western Reserve University. In his general practice he treats mood disorders (depression, dysthymia, bipolar), anxiety disorders (panic, phobias) and relationship issues. He has a special interest in treating interpersonal processes and problems, personality disorders, spirituality and women's issues. He is a certified EMDR Provider, Tobacco Treatment Specialist, and Rational Hypnotherapist.
