Biographical Sketch
Viktor E. Krebs, MD received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1992, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He went on to finish his general surgery and orthopaedic surgery residency training at Cleveland Clinic in 1997. Dr. Krebs returned to the Cleveland Clinic in 1998, having completed advanced studies in Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Total Joint Surgery as an Otto E. Aufranc Fellow at the New England Baptist Hospital Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. There, Dr. Krebs became a founding member of the Otto E. Aufranc Society.
Dr. Krebs is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Ohio State Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
He is the author of a number of publications and has given numerous presentations at several local and national conferences. His specialty interests include hip and knee replacement, revision of painful or failed total joint replacements, hip arthroscopy and complex hip and knee problems in the elderly.
