Biographical Sketch
George H. Kuffner, MD, practices general clinical dermatology (medical and minor surgical) and has been a dermatologist at Cleveland Clinic in Wooster (prev Wooster Clinic, Inc, now CCF Wooster) for over 27yrs (combined) and with CCF Wooster for over 10 yrs.
His treatment interests include eczematous dermatitis, acne, benign skin lesions and/or moles, skin cancer, psoriasis, warts, contact dermatitis, phototherapy, minor skin surgery, LN2 cryosurgery and electrosurgery (electrodesiccation) destruction of skin lesions.
Dr. Kuffner began in July, 1981 as a full-time practicing dermatologist physician at: The Wooster Clinic, Inc. and then continued at same facility since this clinic was purchased and fully integrated with Cleveland Clinic as the Wooster Family Health Center.
He received his MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at University Hospitals of Cleveland, which is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University, completing his internship in internal medicine and his residency in dermatology.
Dr. Kuffner is board-certified in dermatology and internal medicine. His professional memberships include American Academy of Dermatology, Cleveland Dermatological Society, Ohio Dermatological Association, Akron Dermatology Staff Journal Club; he is also a member of AMA and OSMA.
