Biographical Sketch
Linda Grimes Bloom, ND, is a Certified Nurse Midwife in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Hillcrest Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Ms. Bloom is also on the clinical faculty of the Case Western Reserve University Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and its Certified Nurse-Midwife Educational Program (CNEP). Previous to assuming her position at Cleveland Clinic, Ms. Grimes was a clinical nurse midwife at Doctors Hospital.
Ms. Bloom offers antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care to expectant and new mothers.
Ms. Bloom, who holds a BA from Illinois Wesleyan University, received her doctor of nursing degree from Case Western Reserve University. She is registered to practice her specialty in Ohio.
Active in professional organizations for the advancement of nurse-midwifery practice, Ms. Bloom is affiliated with the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Northern Ohio Chapter of American College of Nurse-Midwives. She is a recipient of the Mary Ann Flynn Nurse-Midwifery Award. She is board-certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and holds an Ohio Nurse Midwife certificate of authority.
