James Williams, MD, joined Cleveland Clinic in 1995. He is a member of the Section of Sports Medicine. Dr. Williams is the Director of Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Surgery at Euclid Hospital. He is also Chief of Surgery and Director of the Cartilage Restoration Center at Euclid Hospital.
Dr. Williams has specialized expertise in the diagnosis and management of sports injuries, arthroscopic shoulder / elbow and knee surgery, cartilage restoration, and patello-femoral surgery.
Dr. Williams’ research focus has been on shoulder instability, the development of new techniques for the treatment of knee injuries and the prevention of sports injuries.
