Biographical Sketch
Bassem M. Eldaif, MD, is a Urologic Surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston. His clinical interests include minimally invasive Robotic surgery for prostate cancer, UPJ obstruction, and kidney cancer. Dr. Eldaif also specializes in a wide variety of urologic conditions and procedures such as kidney and ureteral stone procedures, Cryosurgical ablation of renal and prostatic tumors, benign prostatic hyperplasia, elevated PSA, and hematuria.
Dr. Eldaif is Egyptian-born, American-raised, who grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. He received his BA degree from Emory University, after successfully completing his double majors in Chemistry and French Cultural Studies. He received a scholarship to Duke University School of Medicine, and became part of the Duke University Medical Center family for almost ten years. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke and proceeded to successfully complete his surgical and urological residency training. Dr. Eldaif was trained by great mentors in the field of urology such as Drs. Glenn Preminger, David Albala, George Webster, and Judd Moul. He became part of the Cleveland Clinic Florida in July 2008, being appointed as an Associate Staff in the Department of Urology.
Dr. Eldaif is tri-lingual in English, Arabic, and French. He enjoys many sports, beach, and outdoor activities. He especially enjoys the challenges of learning new musical instruments such as the classical guitar, drums, and the keyboard. He also is an active member of the Orthodox Christian Church.
