Biographical Sketch
Marsha Kay, MD, FAAP, FASGE, FACG, is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She did her residency in pediatrics and her fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Cleveland Clinic, and she has been on staff at Cleveland Clinic since 1993.  She is board-certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology with many clinical interests, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, gastrointestinal endoscopy, foreign bodies and caustic ingestions, celiac disease, GI bleeding, acid peptic disease, and general pediatric gastroenterology.

She has been elected a fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology, and she serves on the Executive Council of the Northeastern Ohio Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.  She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition. She has served on numerous committees for the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. She is also a media spokesperson for the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. 

Dr. Kay also serves as a member of the Fellowship Committee for the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Cleveland Clinic. She has been listed on several occasions in Best Doctors in America, Guide to America's Top Physicians, Guide to America's Pediatricians, and Guide to America's Top Gastroenterologists.

She has lectured at numerous national and regional scientific meetings in various topics on pediatric gastroenterology with an emphasis on pediatric endoscopy.  She has served as the associate editor of Wyllie and Hyams, editors, "Pediatric Gastrointestinal Liver Disease," third edition, published in 2006, and is primary author and co-author on numerous manuscripts, chapters and review articles.
