Randall Yetman, M.D.

Randall J. Yetman, MD, is Head of the Section of Breast Surgery in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. His clinical interests include microvascular surgery, breast surgery, cosmetic surgery, melanoma and breast reconstruction.

In April 2002, Dr. Yetman was named one of the nation's Best Doctors for Women in Ladies' Home Journal magazine. Board-certified in plastic surgery, Dr. Yetman is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

A frequent lecturer at national and international meetings, he has authored more than 30 major journal articles, book chapters and textbooks. Currently, Dr. Yetman is involved in the clinical investigation of outcomes of breast reconstruction (TRAM) following a mastectomy for breast cancer.

After receiving his degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, Dr. Yetman completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y. He completed a residency in plastic surgery at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He also completed a hand surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
