Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 5/2/2016, Dr. Gota has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. I had to ask what the next steps will be instead of the Dr. recommending the next steps! Numerous test results indicate severe liver disease. After delivering that information to me she told me to let her know if there was anything further she could do for me. I felt rather abandoned not knowing what to do. After asking her if she would refer me to the appropriate doctor she was willing to do so.

I was at the Cleveland Clinic visiting another physician and was having a problem that is this doctor's specialty. She immediately made time in her busy schedule to see me.

Dr. Gota seems very interested in my overall health.

Dr. Gota was kind and treated me with concern. However, with the chronic inflammation in my nasal and paranasal passages I thought with her expertise in inflammatory processes she would further investigate the problem. I have seen four different specialists who have been baffled by the inflammation process. Wegener's disease is still a differential diagnosis however Dr. Gota did not appear interested in investigating this route. Instead, she referred me to another ENT. I felt more of the same and no answers. I have already send 2 ENTs and had 3 nasal biopsies. On the advice of my friend, who is I doctor I work closely with in my work, I'm a nurse practitioner I am seeing the third ENT at Cleveland on September 29th. I was expecting a total different experience at Cleveland Clinic. I did not want to leave until a diagnosis was made. I've been dealing with and the pain associated with for 9 months. It is getting very frustrating and physically draining.

it was great that they worked together to fit me in on the day I was there. it is a four hour drive and since Dr Gota wanted me to see two other Dr the scheduler worked diligently to get me in to both dr and scheduled my test for the same day. that was greatly appreciated, also the individual that called to schedule more test also worked to have those test done on the same day as my next visit. overall I was very satisfied with Cleveland clinic.

By using my chart, Dr. Gota was able to address my needs. Much better than waiting for a phone call. Dr. Gotta got me in right away when she understood my pain level. I love the ease of My Chart for contacting doctor. I don't have to wait for second and third party contacting doctor then myself. This last visit was very beneficial with the quickness and time Dr. Gota spent with me
