Cathy Cooper, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Solon Family Health Center. Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic in 1997, Dr. Cooper was in private practice. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Cooper earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health. She completed her internship and residency in the Department of Medicine through Case Western Reserve University and the University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio.
She is a member of the Green team recycling program at Solon Family Health Center.

Dr. Cooper was an amazing caring, engaging Care Physician! Her professionalism & personality makes her exceptional. Her assistant was awesome as well. The questions asked along with open minded resolves made me feel I was getting the best prognosis she and assistant could give. Dr. Cooper is the kind of doctor that I would love to have because she along with Dr. Dhillon represents what's "Good" at the CCF! Simply AWESOME!

Dr Cooper is a wonderful primary care physician and I trust her completely but this last visit did not end well .She left the room while an EKG she had just ordered was being done, stating she would return later to discuss the results. However, the EKG technician returned and told me Dr. Cooper was with another patient, handed me the report, and stated the Dr Cooper said that I could leave . The tech did not come into the room, merely handed me the report, and left. So I Quickly dressed and left, not looking at the ekg report until I got home, The words on the sheet stated that this was an abnormal EKG that showed an inferior infarct! I have scheduled an appointment with Dr.Veckstein on chagrin blvd. Dr Cooper has always been wonderful with me, and I will certainly always trust her ! I believe this incident occurred due to her very busy schedule and some type of miscommunication with staff.

Dr. Cooper is always professional and courteous. I have tried other doctors due to insurance changes over the years, but I always seem to come back to her. This doctor is great to visit, she's friendly and seems to genuinely care but...she has not been carefully and thoughtfully managing my overall health for a long time -when visited with her NP's in the past, I've had very good and detailed care from some on Dr. Cooper's team. In general, Dr. Cooper does not pay close attention to some Important details and I've had to keep a close eye on steps before and after my physicals by her.
