Dr. Kaminski’s specialty interests include preventive cardiology, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and cardiac arrhythmias in adults. He sees patients at the Cleveland Clinic Beachwood Family Health Center and Hillcrest Hospital.

Dr. Kaminski received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Cleveland Clinic. He has extensive post-graduate specialized training in cardiovascular imaging techniques, including trans-thoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology (SPECT and PET imaging), diagnostic heart catheterization, and stress testing.
Before his appointment to the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2012, Dr. Kaminski was a cardiologist with University Hospitals of Cleveland and on staff at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and Ahuja Medical Center, Medina Hospital, Akron City Hospital, Akron General Hospital and Cuyahoga Falls Hospital. He is currently the Chairman of the Department of Medicine and medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Medina Hospital.
He has a number of professional publications and presentations to his credit and also has been an invited speaker for several public education programs on diabetes and the heart. Dr. Kaminski is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is a member of the American Heart Association and the American Society of Echocardiography.
In his free time, Dr. Kaminski enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Witnessing a Cleveland sports championship remains his unfulfilled life-long dream.

Fantastic doctor that's why I followed him from Medina/Strongsville to Beachwood. It's an hour ride now but he's worth the drive. Lot of people can't say that about their doctors and a lot of his patients followed him. Says something about his character and caring for his patients.

Dr. Kaminski was very professional in conducting the consultation while also being very attentive and engaging in conversation. He obviously has a great deal of expertise In his field which resulted In me feeling very confident In his treatment and medical opinion. Dr. Kaminski is a fantastic docter. We followed him from Medina to Beechwood when he relocated. The fact that I drive an hour all on the highway to see him. Shows what a great doctor he is. When you find someone you can trust and takes the time to talk and explain things to you, you follow them wherever they go. I had a choice of a new cardiologist in Strongsville 5 minutes from my house or Medina 20 minutes from my house. But we chose to follow him. When you tell other doctors who your cardiologist is they say, he's a great guy and most of his patients followed him to Beachwood. I think that about sums it up . Keep up the great work Dr. Kaminski

I really liked this doctor. He spent time explaining things and at the end typied for me what we had discussed. The patient has a hard time remember every thing the doctor says so this was great. This is the first doctor I have had to do this. He was great!

Dr Matthew Kaminski is by far the best physician I have ever experienced in my 75 years. He is not only an expert in his field but truly cares for his patients, addresses any questions I might have, is very reassuring, does not rush the patient, and is extremely thorough. I travel from Erie, PA just to see him and will continue to do so. Thank you for his care!!!
