Kenneth Frame, MHA, RN, is chief nursing officer for Ashtabula County Medical Center, a Cleveland Clinic affiliate hospital. With more than 25 years as a nursing professional, Frame’s career experience encompasses several nursing director positions within Cleveland Clinic health system, including director of nursing at both Euclid Hospital and Medina Hospital. Additionally, he served as interim chief nursing officer at Medina Hospital prior to accepting his current position. As a leading nurse executive for Ashtabula County Medical Center, he is directly responsible for the oversight of all nursing care and clinical support areas, including the acute care hospital, multiple outpatient clinics, a chemical dependency hospital, and a regional home health care organization.
With clinical expertise in medical/surgical nursing, Frame has spent most of his career in management roles. Some of Frame’s notable accomplishments include the successful consolidation of textile services for the health system while serving as director of central services/textiles, the successful implementation of the electronic medical record at three community locations, and the development of several new service lines at various community hospitals. Frame is heavily involved in community service and has created a number of community programs throughout the years, including wellness initiatives for schools and safety forces and the deployment of automated external defibrillators in police vehicles. He began his career with Cleveland Clinic in 1991.
