Our Children’s Hospital Receives High Mark from U.S. News & World Report

Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital ranked higher in more specialties than any other children’s hospital in Northeast Ohio in U.S.News & World Report’s 2009 edition of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals, released to the public on June 24, 2009. Overall, Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital earned national rankings in eight out of 10 pediatric specialties. A full list of adult specialty and national hospital rankings will be released later in July, and both pediatric and adult rankings will be featured in the August issue of U.S.News & World Report, on newsstands July 21.

The Pediatric Institute and Children’s Hospital is one of 26 institutes at Cleveland Clinic that group multiple specialties together to provide collaborative, patient-centered care. As part of Cleveland Clinic and the renowned Lerner Research Institute, our Children’s Hospital pediatric specialists continue to be on the leading edge of research, developing innovative treatments for the most complex conditions.

This superb quality and culture of innovation across a wide breadth of services, has led to more than 80 Cleveland Clinic pediatric providers being named “Best Doctors in America,” more than any other healthcare provider in the region. Backed by the full resources of Cleveland Clinic, our Children’s Hospital offers complete medical, surgical and rehabilitative care for infants, children and adolescents. More than 200 pediatric physicians accommodate 500,000 patient visits annually at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Shaker Campus, community hospitals and family health centers.
