Cleveland Clinic Performs Country's First Near-Total Face Transplant

Cleveland Clinic announces that a team of physicians has performed the first near-total face transplant in the United States. Doctors from the surgical team will detail the procedure at a news conference on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 1 p.m. (EST) at the Intercontinental Hotel & Conference Center, 9801 Carnegie Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44195.
