Department Message

Thank you for your interest in training in the Department of Neurology at Cleveland Clinic.

Cleveland Clinic is recognized as a National Health Care Resource and is composed of a 900-bed hospital, an extensive outpatient clinic network, and a large research complex. A full-time staff of over 1100 physicians represents all subspecialty areas within medicine and surgery. The total house staff numbers approximately 800 physicians. The Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University was launched in 2004. Over 500 medical students, including those from outside institutions, complete rotations at Cleveland Clinic every year.

In the Neurology Program, we accept two pediatric neurology and eight adult neurology residents per year. Postgraduate fellowships are available in EEG/epilepsy, EMG/neuromuscular disease, headache, neuro-immunology (multiple sclerosis), neuro-intensive care, sleep medicine, and vascular neurology. A fellowship is also available in basic neuro-immunology research.

Our Neurology Department staff of 70 represents a faculty with a broad and diverse expertise in all subspecialty areas of Neurology.
