New Location Provides Weekend Warriors and Professional Athletes Same Care
Cleveland Clinic furthers its reputation as a sports health leader with the opening of its newest facility in Garfield Heights. Come celebrate the opening of the new center at a free community event from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11.
What: The event will allow visitors to take part in performance program demonstrations, agility test stations and other screenings. There will also be a trampoline, inflatables, food, a DJ and much more entertainment.
Where: The new Sports Health Center, located conveniently at 5555 Transportation Blvd. in Garfield Heights east of the I-480 and I-77 interchange, is a comprehensive multi-disciplinary facility covering all aspects of sports healthcare from orthopaedics and primary care to rehabilitation and physical therapy.
Who:
- Todd Eldredge, U.S. Male Figure Skating championship, will be signing autographs
- Ahmad Krump, the MC and in-game commentator for the Cavs, will MC the event
- The Cavs Street Team will be volunteering
- Slider, Moondog and one of the Cleveland Browns Mascots will be entertaining the crowd
