PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident

Dr. Nicole McCorkindale is from Cleveland, Ohio and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. Nicole’s practice interests include hematology/oncology and infectious disease. Her current research project involves calculating labor costs associated with pre-packing medications in a community hospital. After her residency, Nicole plans to pursue a PGY-2 specialty practice residency in hematology/oncology. Ultimately, she would like to obtain a clinical position at an academic medical center where she can provide direct patient care services as well as precept students and residents. In her leisure time, Nicole enjoys spending time with friends, playing the guitar, and cooking.

Andrea M. Miller, PharmD

PGY-1 Clinical Pharmacy Resident

Dr. Andrea Miller is from Bellville, Ohio and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy in 2014. Andrea’s practice interests include internal medicine, pain management, palliative care, critical care and academia. Her research project involves creating a pharmacist intervention for pain care and evaluating the impact it has on pain scores and patient’s satisfaction with their pain management through their HCAPH scores. After her residency, Andrea plans to pursue a PGY-2 specialty practice residency in pain management and palliative care. She would ultimately like to obtain a clinical specialist position where she can focus on patient care while precepting pharmacy students and residents. In her leisure time, Andrea enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, baking, and traveling.
